NSHL Player Agent

NSHL Player Agent

NSHLPA

The league's NSHL Player Agent is a role elected by league GMs prior to each off-season. This person is responsible for the player's side of negotiations and is expected to act in the player's best interest when handling negotiations.

When it comes to negotiating deals for the NSHLPA's team, the NSHL Player Agent for players involved becomes the Commissioner, followed by the VP if the Commissioner's team is also involved in negotiations for the same player.

The elected NSHL Player Agent for Season 8 is Eric 'The Goss' Gosselin, GM of the San Jose Sharks.

Contact the NSHL Player Agent at nshlpa@jaykashman.net or godbls7@hotmail.com (they both go to the same spot).

Signing a Free Agent

In order to sign a free agent, a team has to e-mail the NSHL Player Agent (NSHLPA) and include all of the information listed below. Any offer submitted to the NSHLPA that's missing mandatory information or for a player that is ineligible to be signed (for example, the player in question is a rookie and cannot be signed or worse, is already on another team's roster), the NSHLPA may ignore the e-mail altogether or may respond asking the team to re-submit a proper offer. Constant submissions of unacceptable offers can be held against the team and may force the league to take further action.

The information that's required to sign a free agent is:

The NSHL Player Agent will respond to all offers made as soon as they possibly can. Offers or questions about offers are not to be asked to the Player Agent in conversation on MSN Messenger unless the PA brings it up (out of respect).

Any questions about negotiations can be directed to the league at any time, either to the NSHL Commissioner (nshl@jaykashman.net) or the Vice President of League Operations (olostar@hotmail.com).
